Last week I photographed the annual conference for Housing California. This was the 30th year of their founding. They are truly a great group of people to work for. They represent and lobby for those who need adequate housing.

Here is what they do:

• Increase affordability in the housing market through targeted state investment.
• End homelessness and prevent families and individuals from becoming homeless in the future.
• Ensure local, state and federal housing, transportation and climate change plans fully and accurately reflect Californians' need for an affordable place to live.
